Our terms of trading do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

 
Making A Purchase
Browse our catalogue and click on "add to basket" at any item that you wish to buy and it will be placed in your shopping cart. Once you have finished your selection, click on "checkout " and you will be asked for your details. You can also place an order by phone on 01869 323796. You will be sent an order confirmation by email or letter when we receive your order. All calls are charged at standard rate.
We accept credit card payment by Visa or Mastercard or payment by Switch. These are processed when your order is placed. You may send your credit card information via phone or online, which is the safest way as we use 128 bit, secure encryption. Cheques are accepted but allow 7 days for clearance. Any errors in receipts or payments will be rectified within 5 working days of our agreeing to correct them.

Shipping And Handling
The cost of shipping within the most of the UK mainland is free on orders over £350 (exc VAT).We do not currently deliver to the islands and highlands. There will be a charge of £30 on orders less than £350.00 which is added at the checkout. UK deliveries are usually made within 5 days. The delivery service is to the ground floor only and assistance will be needed to unload. We will advise you of the delivery date in advance.
ON DELIVERY PLEASE THOROUGHLY INSPECT THE GOODS AND REPORT DAMAGES, ERRORS OR FAULTS IN THE ORDER TO US AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. We cannot accept liability for damages or errors that have been reported after the product has been installed. Faults which become apparent after the installation have been made are covered by the warranty. These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
IN THE EVENT THAT GOODS CANNOT BE INSPECTED ON DELIVERY THEN SIGN FOR THEM AS "UNEXAMINED"
Report damages, faults or errors to the Operations Manager by phone, email or letter as per the contact details section. In the unlikely event of damage, fault or error you will be entitled to an exchange or full refund. Refunds will be made within 5 working days of our agreement to do so.

Delivery Schedule
Delivery times vary however products are usually delivered within 5 working days from stocks throughout the UK. Contracts not completed within 30 days can be cancelled. Refunds will be processed within 5 days.
We advise against booking trades for installations untill the goods have been received. No liability can be accepted for costs caused by late deliveries or for any other reason.

Cancellation & Returns
Please inspect your goods immediately on delivery, no claims with regard to damaged items can be made after the courier has left delivery address, unless signed for as damaged on delivery. Damaged goods should be returned with the courier. We will accept returned items unopened in the Original Packaging for whatever reason within 3 days of receipt, you will need to return the goods back to us via your chosen courier, and a 40% handling charge paid by purchaser will be deducted from your refund. This can be done by email to
info@jjpflooring.co.uk or calling 01869 323796. 'This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer'.We cannot accept returned goods if they are no longer saleable.

Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, you will first be emailed or written to with the option to cancel or change your order. We can back order for you . Any contracts not completed within 30 days can be cancelled by either party and a full refund will be given for goods not delivered. Refunds will be processed within 5 working days.

Tax Charges
17.5% VAT will be added to all prices shown, unless otherwise stated.

Credit Card Security
We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet.
All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit Java encryption.This encryption begins at the form where you are asked for your credit card details.They are only decrypted after they reach our computer, all that passes through the internet is a scrambled message. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
Your information is not stored on an internet active computor so your details cannot be accessed by a third party.
This system is the safest way to buy and is safer than passing your details over the phone lines and at least as safe as passing your card over a shop counter.
The ordering system allows you to make several other choices of method to pay. You can pay by cheque. Process your order through the system then select YOUR PREFERRED PAYMENT METHOD.
The company accepting the payment is JJP Flooring Company, and that is what will appear on your statement.

Guarantees
All our products are covered by the manufacturers warranty which is detailed with the product and is a minimum of 12 months. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Complaints
We aim to provide high levels of customer satisfaction and will provide service consistent with best practice. Any complaints should be sent in writing or by email to the contact detail's above, addressed to the Operations Manager. You will be contacted within 2 working days. In the unlikely event that this response is not satisfactory then write to or email the Managing Director at the same address whose response will be forwarded within 5 working days.

Privacy Policy
Cookies are used on this site, but merely add functionality to the shopping cart.
We do not send marketing emails to personal email addresses where the recipient is not a customer.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information collected about you lawfully(in accordance with the Data protection Act 1998). We only collect the information provided by you on the order forms which enables us to process your order and to provide you with the best possible service. You will be given the chance to refuse any marketing/promotional emails from us during the order process. We will never collect sensitive information about you other than the basic details you give us on the order form. You can check the information we hold on you at any time by emailing us and we will be happy to correct any inaccuracies promptly. None of your details will ever be passed to any other trader.
